PROMOTING BUSINESS AND TRADE

The Canada Australia New Zealand Business Association (CANZBA) is a non-profit association based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with its aim to foster trade and business between Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Established in 2001 to serve the needs of Canadian, Australian and New Zealand individuals and companies, it is dedicated to advancing members' trade and business activities in these countries through developing business opportunities, making business contacts, and the exchange of information.

2. To help Canadian individuals or companies looking to do business or set up operations in Australia and/or New Zealand
3. To link members of the Australian and New Zealand communities in Canada

Develop Business Opportunities:

As Western Canada's only association devoted to promoting business between Canada, Australia and New Zealand, CANZBA is often the first point of contact for people interested in these markets, which in turn creates visibility for its members and provides access to business leaders and government officials.

Special meetings, as well as regular calendar events and networking functions allow members to be informed as to the latest issues and trends relating to trade and business between our three countries. Events include luncheons featuring speakers on relevant topics, VIP Roundtable Breakfasts with visiting experts and officials, and social functions such as Australia/Waitangi Day celebrations and the Melbourne Cup party to provide additional networking opportunities.

Make Business Contacts:

By participating in the regular series of events, members have the opportunity to meet those others involved in doing business in these countries. In addition, our Members Directory can be accessed by members through the "Members only" section on the website.

CANZBA has forged alliances with a number of sister organizations in North America and Down Under with similar goals, and will continue to do so. This enables our members to increase their network and access to information. As a CANZBA member you can contact these organizations when travelling to facilitate business introductions in those countries.

Stay Informed:

Speaker luncheons, panel and roundtable discussions and seminars, present timely information on the issues concerning trade and business between Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Through our News Links in the "Members only" section of the website, special email notices, and non-CANZBA events listed in the Events Calendar, CANZBA will also link you and your organization to other relevant and important trade shows, conferences, workshops, functions and people.

Promotional Opportunities:

CANZBA members have opportunities to sponsor specific events either solely or in partnership with other CANZBA members providing the sponsors with an ideal forum to communicate their brand and message to a qualified and targeted business audience.

Members are often invited to participate as luncheon speakers and can thereby display their products and/or services at these events. Corporate membership also provides the opportunity to be included in the Corporate Members listing on the website, along with your logo and a link to your website.

CANZBA relies on its members for financial support, through donations, membership fees and fees paid to attend events.

CANZBA has a board of directors comprised of local business people, and operates through committees.
